Zero Miles Meat Company Associate is a certified network for beef, lamb and pork farms that meet our standard. It gives independent farms a badge worth having, a spot on our farm locator, and the marketing reach of a national brand, while staying completely independent businesses.
This sits separately from our poultry franchise. Poultry stays with our franchise network, where UK law allows the animal to be processed without ever leaving the farm. That exemption is for poultry only — beef, lamb, pork and game are never processed on-farm. Associate farms always work with a licensed, off-farm abattoir.
We built the standard the same way we built our poultry model: well above the legal minimum, backed by real numbers, not just a nice phrase.
You tell us how your farm runs against the standard — your grazing, your stocking, and the licensed abattoir you use to get your meat to market.
We talk it through together and check it's a genuine fit. No farm visit needed.
